Reprint of the original edition by Ninpō in China 1856; rendered from Chinese into Japanese with guiding marks between by Mitsukuri Genpo ; engraved by Takeguchi Takisaburō. Vol. 1 of 3 books : woodcut ; 25.7 x 17.5 cm. in slipcase 26.4 x 18 x 3.4 cm. Vol. 1 leaves 3-38, vol. 2 leaves 39-71, vol. 3 leaves 72-107. Contents: Volume 1 (Beans [1856.4]) 東半球圖 Higashi Hankyū zu (Eastern Hemisphere); (Beans [1856.5]) 西半球圖 Nishi Hankyū zu (Western Hemisphere); (Beans [1856.6]) 亜細亜洲圖 Ajia shūzu (Map of Asia); Volume 2 (Beans [1856.7]) 欧羅巴州圖 Yōroppa shūzu (Map of Europe); Volume 3 (Beans [1856.8]) 亜非利加洲圖 Afurika shūzu (Map of Africa); (Beans [1856.9]) 北亜美理駕大洲圖Kita Amerika taishūzu (Map of North America); (Beans [1856.10]) 南亜美理駕大洲圖 Minami Amerika taishūzu (Map of South America).
