Description obtained from the Annotated Catalogue of the H. Colin Slim Stravinsky Collection: "Round bronze medal, 3.8 cm in diameter, struck for the New York City Ballet 18 June 1972, commemorating the Stravinsky Festival by George Balanchine and given by Vera Stravinsky to Olga Maynard (1914-94) at the festival. Its face has on a five-line stave: "iS" (the second letter shaped as a treble clef), and is circumscribed: IGOR STRAVINSKY 1882 1971 NEW YORK CITY BALLET JUNE 18 1972; its obverse reproduces a Greek lyre."
