Edition: First folio edition; [second issue]
The first state of the Shakespeare's portrait from the title page has no shadow on the collar; the second state (found in this second issue of the first folio edition) has a shadow.
Predominantly printed in double columns.
With an engraved portrait of the author signed: "Martin· Droeshout: sculpsit· London" on the title page.
Colophon reads: "Printed at the charges of W. Jaggard, Ed. Blount, I. Smithweeke, and W. Aspley, 1623".
Bound in full red morocco gilt by Staggemeier & Welcher, [circa 1800].
Multiple errors in pagination.
Multiple new paginations.
