Description

All elicitation materials from session with Nancy Jones on February 4th, 2025. This session focused on the acceptability of obviative subjects of intransitive verbs. The verbs that were tested are 'smile' (zhoomiingweni-), 'sing' (nagamo-), 'sweat' (abwezo-). They were tested with an obviative form of a proper name and the obviative form of 'ikwezens'.
