Community Engagement Report Kim, Sunu (Isabel); Huerne, Katherine; Leung, Larry; Min, Jason

Description

The Uprooting Pharmacy Community Engagement Report is based on knowledge shared during engagement meetings conducted over a three-year period. This report consists of complete findings summarized based on two major identified frameworks: Traditional Medicines and Barriers and Facilitators to Culturally Safe Pharmacy Care. The identified frameworks can be used to develop training models for pharmacists and others involved in an Indigenized pharmacy environment. To date, the UPROOT Team has actively responded to the findings in various ways, including the development of a traditional medicines guide, traditional medicines catalogue, clinical pharmacist services model, Indigicare Medicines practicum, and a report detailing decolonization, Indigenization and reconciliation in pharmacy.
