This repository contains data and analysis scripts for the paper "Do pupillary responses during authentic slot machine use reflect arousal or screen luminance fluctuations? A proof-of-concept study" by Andy J. Kim, W. Spencer Murch, Eve H. Limbrick-Oldfield, Mario A. Ferrari, Kent I. MacDonald, Jolande Fooken, Mariya V. Cherkasova, Miriam Spering, and Luke Clark (in prep.). The data were collected from two real slot machines, and multiple samples of human participants. They include pupillometric recordings from research participants looking at images of different brightness, as well as participants actively engaged in slot machine gambling.
