This dataset is expanded from that in Winslow et al.2013.</p> Column 1 contains the boundary number, where 1 (2) is the outer (inner) limit of the ingoing bowshock crossing, 3 (4) is the outer (inner) limit of the ingoing magnetopause crossing, 5 (6) is the inner (outer) limit of the outgoing magnetopause crossing, 7 (8) is the inner (outer) limit of the outgoing bowshock crossing. The start and end of gaps in the magnetic field data (which may lead to the inability to identify a crossing on an orbit) are listed as boundaries 9 and 10. The UTC time of the boundary crossing is given in columns 2 (year), 3 (day of year), 4 (hour), 5 (minute), 6 (second). Column 7 contains the MESSENGER orbit number. Columns 8, 9, and 10 contain the X, Y, and Z positions of the boundary crossing in MSO coordinates (km).</p> |
