Notes |
Raw drifter data (L1 datasets) from two different expendable surface drifter programs have been merged and put into a uniform format (L2 dataset) which was then quality controlled, with classifications added for all locations dividing them in "valid", "bad", "partly grounded", and "mostly grounded". The final L3 dataset is provided here.
