UBC Library Space Use Observation Study UBC Library Assessment
Description
During the sample week (Mar 31-Apr 6 2014) UBC Library staff counted the number of users in publicly available study space in the two largest UBC Vancouver library branches, Irving K. Barber Learning Centre and Koerner Library. Counts took place twice daily, beginning around 10am and 2pm each day* and recording information about seating type, location, and activity.</p>
The study was planned by Jeremy Buhler, Julie Mitchell, and Trish Rosseel. </p>
