Meeting cf the Trustees cf the Winfield k Okanagan Centre Irrigation
District held In the Rainbow Ranche office on Irlday* May 19/44 at Sp.m*
HPSSST   J* l*.3estem (Chairman) sfessm* Berry, Constable, Duggan, k Goldie*
H. A. Howard and E. Tern Aekeren were also present*
The Chairman told It?* Howard that the Trustees were prepared to go ee high as
50J6 as their share ef the cost ef the mew dam at Bearer Lake*
Mr* Howard said that he thought that the Irrigation Co* should met be
expected tc pay mere them one third ( 1/3 )
Considerable discussion es to the benefits accruing te either, or both,
the District & the Irrigation Co* was followed by ISr* Howard saying that
40)1 was, he feltt*   the highest that the Co. could go*
However j he finally agreed to assume e 50$ share cf the entire^ cost of
the complete works* ^'^ Vfl^/
It was thought that the total cost ef the dam would be about $10*000* f
Mr. Howard and sir* Ten Aekeren dime agreed tc the fire conditions as shown
in the minutes cf May 12/44, e copy ef which Is attached to these minutes*
Mr Tan Aekeren said that if the users would take water en Sundays, the Co*
could deliver about 10$ mere water  ( provided that it was available )

Mr. Seward end Mr. Ten Aekeren left tie meeting after expressions of mutual
satisfaction by all concerned.

It cms decided to table this matter pro tern as the domestic water situation
ems getting to a stage where something definite would have to be done in
order to ensure that irrigation took precedence over the domestic supply*
