SECONDED by BERRY |S That the minutes of the meeting of Nov* 16/44 be
adopted*        CARRIED
It was suggested by It?* Goldie, k agreed to by the
Trust cos,, that the words " This in reference to our personal interview as
referred to in the minutes of Nov* 6/44 " be added after the report of the
reading of the Premier's letter*
The Sec* reported that he had both written to and Interviewed Mr, K. Kobay-
ashl re* his domestic water* The Trust see agreed that no more could be done
at the present time.

A Letter from Mr* Howard * as premised by him at
the meeting of Bee* 5/44) wae then read in whloh he stated the Irrigation
Co*fs willingness to sell the entire system for $75,000*00*   This offer
would however, expire cm April 1/45*
Considerable discussion followed; the trend being that the price
was too high*
It was finally decided that the See* write the Premier of B. C. &
ash: the possibilities of Govt, assistance*

The Sec* then made a report on the Interior Construction Cofs bill for the
completion of Beaver Lake dsm* This figure was # 16,994*03* This did not
include the contractor's commission* The Irrigation Co.  said that they
thought that with the final price being so high, &fo was all that the contractor wed entitled to* but that if the Trustees wanted to make it 10$, they
(the Co.) would fall into line*

on the mew dam at Beaver Lake be cot  at 8$*
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY    ||p
The a/c was then Itemized by the Sec* and the Trustees agreed
that although the cost far exceeded all estimates, the accounts were,
apparently all correct*
The Sec, said that with the 8% added the Interior Construction Cofs
a/c was #18,355*55*    In addition to this there UK were several other sums
(such as the cost of gates, inspectors fees, etc<) which would bring the
.total very close to #20,000*00,
