Meeting ef the Trust see of the Winfield k Okanagan Centre Irrigation
District held In the Winfield Hall on Thurs^ Hoy*, 16/44 at 10*00 a*xa*
PRESENT • • J.Seaton (Chairman)  Messrs. Berry, Constable, Duggan, & Goldie.
The minutes of the meeting cf Hov. JS/44 more read and It was

SEC (TOED by BERRY :- That the minutes cf Hov* 6/44 he sdcpted* CARRIED
The sec* then said that the minutes of April 13/44 hot never been
officially adopted.   These4 minutes were them re-read mad it was
mvm by 0ON5TABH
3EC0BDSD by BERRY :- That the minutes cf April 13/44 he adopted* CARRIED
A letter from the District to the Public Utilities Commission was them
reed* This letter wae asking for further particulars on Qrder-in-Couneil
Ho* 1639.
A reply was read in which it stated that the OK* Centre Irrigation Co*
My set up a book charge for interest k depreciation, but that all revenue,
after allowing for legitimate expenses, must be used for replacements.
The Sec* then read a letter from the District to the Comptroller of
Water Rights commenting 6n the objections to the raising of Beaver Lake
level.      This letter was approved by the Trustees.
T APT KB BYLAW 1944 was then reconsidered and it was
MQ7ED by BERRY
SECONDED by C0T3ST/3UB *- That Taxation Bylaw 1044 be passed for the
second k final time.       CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
The See* read a letter from the Premier of B. C. saying that the
Govt* intended to look into the irrigation systems of the whole CK* Valley*

SECQHDEP by rflJGGAN :- That R. 0. Rutherford & Oo. he appointed auditor
for the 1944 year*   carried unanimously
It was arranged that Mr* Constable accompany Mr* Van Aekeren of the
OK. Centre Irrigation Co* to try and get some dump trucks for the work at
Beaver Lake.
Mr* Berry volunteered to assist , and hie offer was accepted*
Some discussion about the amount of domestic water being used by £• Kob-
ayashi them took place* The Trustees felt that he was abusing hie
privileges*    The Sec* was asked to write him a letter,  and if possible
to see him In person*   This was agreed to*

SECONDED by   BERRY:~ That this meeting adjourn*      CARRIED
