Minutes of a Meeting oWche Board of Trustees of tJr~N winfield and
Okanagan Centre Irrigation District, held at the re*rldenee of tho
Chairman at Winfield, Monday, June 8th 1931 at 8 ofclock P.M*
Present,- Trustees, Seaton, Read, Goldie and McDonald. Mr.McDonald
acted as Secretary*
Trustee Goldie was instructed to write a letter to Mr. de Wolf
to be mailed on SS Sicamous tomorrow morning* This letter
O   being Mr. deWolf's authority to procure from the conservation
fund the sum of %%  7,000. for pumping pur coses.
Messrs. Bead and Goldie were appointed a delegation to see Mr.
Groves and consult with him as to proposed pumping scheme.
The question of the Well was then brought up.  It was decided to
try to procure a lease of one year on the property from Mr. Day,
and if thi© waa not forthcoming, to pull out the cribbing and
fill It in. Any reasonable offer for the wall in the meantime
to be considered by the Trustees.
Trustee McDonald brought up the matter of having record books
for each user printed and to be signed by the Company's ditoh
rider so that each user would have an official record of the amount
of water delivered; thus avoiding any disputes as to rebates etc.,
It was decided to go into the matter of costs of this printing and
submit a statement shortly to the next meeting of the Trustees.
The meeting then adjourned,
lote for the Trustees.
We are advised by the Comptroller, that Mr. J, C# Copeland
has applied for the right to pump ft Acre feet from
Okanagan Lake to be used on lots 10 to £3 Block I map 454.
Mr, Penfold has advised that it will be necessary for the
District to secure the comptroller's approval to "change of
works", if pumping scheme at Beaver Lake is carried out.
