The correspondence received since the last meeting waa than read. This
consisted ef a letter from the Dept* ef Lands asking for the two out stand*
ing instalments em the Conversation Fund Loan.    A letter from D.K.Panfold
asking that trees growing cm Crooked Lake dam be removed* Am application
from E.Cullum of Ellison asking for domestic mater on a let outside the
District*    A latter from Mrs. WeJ.Coe expressing her appreciation for the
remission of her 1942 District Tax*    Information from the Can* tank of
Commerce that cur last Victory Bond waa la their hands* Several letters
asking for certificates saying that the District Tex waa paid up to date
en various lots that had recently changed hands*    A letter from Loyd Smith
saying that the OK* Valley Lead Co* had refused to let him use one of their
water boxes to fill his sprayer*
ARISING FROM CORRESPONDENCE
Re the Conservation Fund loan*   The Chairman said that he had been trying
to contest W.A.C.Bennett but had been unable to da ae ap te the present, so
It was decided to leave the matter In abeyance until such time as they could
meet.
E. Cullum of Ellison mam told that the Trustees mere unable to great his
request for domestic water*
The Loyd Smith was a matter t*tat the Trustees felt was mare a Mmm that
celled for a legal decision, aad rahhef cat cf their hands. The Sec* waa
instructed te see Mr* flam Aekeren k try to uncage a reconciliation*

Some discussion took place after the meeting.
The Chairman said that Crooked Lake waa up to the concrete spillway,
and that Mr. Van Aekeren had told him that the Co* expected to finish
the irrigation season with Beaver Lake standing at 6 feet* - WduutXub \ i«/   >/
It was suggested that certain work be done on Crooked Lake dam after
the picking season.    It was thought that if we could get 4 or 5 men for
one day the whole thing could be done at one trip*
Departed for home at 9*30 p.m*
Since the above meeting I have seen Harry Van Aekeren end he has said
that he will have a talk with Smith mA tell him that he can use the
Co* water box* He will then notify me and I can write Smith snd say
that I understand that the matter has been settled and that there is
therefore no need for the District    to give any decision*
