Minutes of Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the winfleld
and Okanagan Centre Irrigation Distriot, held at the tesidenes
of the Secretary at Winfield, Monday, November 2nd 1 931 *
present - Messrs. Goldie- McDonald, Gray, Seaton and Read,
and the Secretary.
The Secretary read the letter written to Mr. Cathoart, Deputy
Minister of Lands in accordance with the instructions of the
last meeting of the Trustees.
Mr. Goldie reported on the interviews he and the Secretary had
had with Mr. de Wolfe and with the Manager of the Canadian
Bank of Commerce.
The Trustees considered the accounts of the Flume Committee
in detail, and it was
moved by Mr. Gray,
Seconded by Mr. McDonald, That the Secretary be authorized to
issue a cheque to the Flume Committee
for the sum of $730.00, to apply on
the District's contribution tfto
this work.
The following accounts were submitted by the Secretary.
Kelowna Printing Company     $ 13.60
Ribelin photo Studios 5.00
Mrs, M. I* Meugens 4.25
It was moved by Mr. Read,
Seconded by Mr. McDonald, That the above accounts be passed
and the Secretary authorized to issue
cheques in payment.
The Secretary reported that In accordance with the terms of
the contraot, the sum of $1593.00 had been paid to the Interior
Contracting Company, on account of work on Crooked Lake Dam
to October 8th;  the account having been vouched for by
Mr. w. A. Cameron.
Mr, McDonald reported conversation with Mr. Cameron on the latter1 s
return from crooked Lake this evening; Mr. Cameron expresses
himself as very well pleased with the progress being made by the
A discussion ensued on the damage claimed by A. Clark on the
road to Beaver Lake;  as the contraot speolfioally provides that
the contractor is responsible for this matter, the Trustees
took no action.
The Meeting then adjourned.
