The Secretary reported that a rerbal offer had been mads
by Mr* J* Sommerville through Mr* P# 0. to .Donald, toenter
into an agreement, giving the District sole right of way
of the weaver Lake Road passing through his property,
for the sum of One Hundred Doliar a($100.00).
An application by Mrs *E. Lids tone for a licence to use 2 ac.ft.
and loo gallons a day of water from Ray1 s Spring came up
for discussion. The ^trustees considered, that as this was
water within the district, such water belonged to the district
and the granting of a licence to any individual would be
prejudicial to the interests of the District* In consequence,
the Secretary was instructed to protest the application,
emphasising the fact, that this land can be irrigated through
the Okanagan Centre Irrigation & Power Go's system*
to. Goldie and the Secretary reported conversations with
to. Marshall, Manager of the Irrigation Co., who stated
that he was receiving several applications for 2 acre feet
of water, and would like to have the Trustees opinion en
this jitter. The unanimous decision of, the Board was, that
while it opposed any discrimination in the supply of water,
it was the Company's business, and only affected the Board
when that business was not, in the Boar*1 s opinion, being
carried on satisfactorily.
Moved by to* Mc*Donagh,
Seconded by Mr. Gray, That the following accounts be
approved and payment authorized*
