Minutes of a Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Winfield and Qksnagan Centre Irrigation District, held at
the Secretary's residence at Winfield, Saturday, January
9th at 3 o'clock P.M.
Present - Messrs Read, Goldie, Gray and Seaton and
the Secretary, 1. C. Maile.

Mr. Read reported conTersation with certain users in
regard to the a

The Secretary read letter from the Deputy Minister of
Lands , in regard to the proposal to assess the cost of
the office of the Superintendent cf Irrigation against
the Districts. The Secretary was instructed to write the
Deputy Minister asking him for details of the cost of
this office and the acreage of the Districts which would
be responsible for it under the proposed scheme.
Xhe Secretary read a letter from the Comptroller asking
for information as to lrrigaable acreage and quantity of
water supplied in years 1929, 1930 and 1931.  -he Secretary
was instructed to advise the Comptroller th^t as nearly
as we are able to elStfl&ftfc this matter, tb^quantity of
water delivered in these years would average less than
one acre foot.
The Secretary was instructed to issue a circular letter to
delinquent taxpayers, advising them that property on
whic there are delinquent taxes would be liable for
Tax Sale.
The meeting then adjourned.
