Minutes of a Meeting of the Board of Trustees o:Hthe Winf ield
and Okanagan Centre Irrigation District, held at the residence
of the Secretary at *7 infield, Monday, February 1st 1?>2
Present,.Messrs. seaton, Head, McDonald and Goldie,
a,nd the Secretary, 1*0.-* Mails.
The Minutes of the Meetings of January 5th and January 14th
were readri, and it was
Moved by Mr* Goldie,
Seconded by Mr. Kead, That the minutes of meetings of January
9th and January 14th be adopted.
jtir* McDonald suggested that in his opinion the Trustees
should enter into matters such as delivery of water by
the company to Individual users. After some discussion
this question was postponed for further consideration.
The Secret ry reported on the delinquent t^xes l1»G) still
ihe Seeretary read the notice from the >*ater Comptroller
calling a meeting to consider Harris Creek Diversion, to
be held in Vernon February 4th.  j|^rl
Messrs. Seaton and Goldie, who had attended previous meeting
on the Karris Creek scheme, reported on progress to date.
In their opinion, none of the parties interested were any
further adva&ed in their plans than our own district, and it
would appear Improbable that any Immediate work would be done*
and that scheme could not supply water until 1934.

Seconded by Mr.McDonald, That Messrs. Goldie and Seaton
attend meeting in Ternon, Feb*4th.

Mr. Goldie reported on a meeting of the Association of
Irrigation Districts held in Kelowna, Jan.27th, at which the
"Gsddes" report was discussed. Mr. Seaton reported that
at this meeting it was brought out that the Superintendent of
Irrigation receives a salary of $42CC. per annum m d the
expenses of the office amount to about $12CC, which, if
assessed on all districts concerned would involve an annual
charge of about M  cents per acre. The Association is taking
up this matter with the Government.
Mr. McDonald reported that he has heard that a number of
Kelowna citizens contemplate establishing a Fishing Club at
Server Lake.
The Secretary read correspondence with the Comptroller in
regard to dues re diversion and storage.
The Secretary submitted his resignation, which was accepted,
with regret, and the Trustees requested the Secretary to
carry on until a successor could bs appointed.
