Dear Mr, Goldie:
ite Rainbow Ranch.
I am to-day forwarding to the Canadian Bank of Co
vernon, draft in their favor at par Vernon for #2,000., and requesting them
to credit #1,500* of this to the account of the Rainbow Ranch ^ndy#500* to
the account of Bellevue R^nch, asking them to notify jybu* ^J Will you kindly sign and return to me the enclosed receipts NfW/these ^vances* Find
enclosed copy of letter to the Bank. I V \
I enclose herewith two typewritten cojpjas (one of which please
hand to Mr* Donne?) of the estimates of income and expenditure which you compiled during my recent visit to the Ranch* I will advance further $1,000*
to Rainbow Ranch account as soon as I can arrange to do so*
I assume that Mr. Dormer is advancing to Rainbow Ranch #1,500*,
and my understanding is that you propose to take up as much as you can of the
present indebtedness to the Bank of Commerce. I also understand that you will
make no purchases which are to be charged to capital expenditure, without my
consent* Will you please confirm this!
I had a pretty good trip East, and found things alright here on
my return, although the financial situation shows no improvement*
Trusting that all is going well with you, an* with best wishes
to you and Mr. Dormer.
Yours very^truly,
Encls-
JEM/T
