Description
Large engraved print including the regions surrouding the North Pole. No scale is provded, but the topography and depth of the ocean is indicated in fathoms. Engraved at the bottom right is "W. & A. K. Johnston 74 Strand, London" and "Frontispiece." The bottom center carries the engraving "William Blackwood & Sons, Edinburgh and London."
