Photograph formed part of an album entitled "MacMillan and Bloedel Limited Logging and Mill, 1940-1950's." Picture caption: Johnny Radu is operator of the donkey engine mounted on a truck chassis. Whole assembly is known as "goat". It's used to wind in, pay out, straw lines and pass lines used by rigging crew in stringing, and to raise guy, main, and haul-back, wire-rope lines.
