Picture caption: Chaser Ovril spikes first of ten guy lines to hold main spar steady against forthcoming strains and stresses of loading and yarding. Each guy line-usually 10--is wrapped around a firmly rooted and notched stump, then secured with railroad spikes. Harmac News. June 1953.
