Photograph depicts the 1966 Powell River expansion. The writing on the image also indicates that commencing installation of frankie piles has also begun. Photograph comes from an album of 593 black and white photographs documenting the Powell River project. Album is a part of records relating to the Powell River Division. This Division was a part of the larger Nanaimo Region Office (corporate communications division) of MacMillan Bloedel Limited.
