Image of the Sunny Side Hotel in 1888.
Mrs. Thomas McGirr donated this photo to the City of Vancouver Archives in November, 1949.
The caption on margin is handwritten by the major, Jame Skitt Matthews (J.S.M.), who was appointed as City Archivist of the Vancouver City Archives in 1933.
Identical image can be found in the City of Vancouver Archives' collection, AM54-S4-: Bu P371.
