Description
Water Street looking west from Carrall Street. The Sunnyside Hotel, the Alhambra Hotel, the Fire hall and hose tower can be seen in the photo.
Mrs. Thomas McGirr donated this photo to the City of Vancouver Archives in November, 1949.
The caption on margin is written by the major, Jame Skitt Matthews (J.S.M.), who was appointed as City Archivist of the Vancouver City Archives in 1933.
Identical image can be found in the City of Vancouver Archives' collection, AM54-S4-: Str P266.
