Description

Rusted boiler partially submerged in water. Caption reads, "This is a photograph of the last boiler of our Famous S.S. Beaver. Report says it is on view at Tacoma, Wash. I made this photograph for Capt. Cates. The boiler was lying in the Inlet near Heatly Ave. wharf. Later it was moved to the shore of North Vancouver to await friendly interest being taken by our own citizens, but none was apparent, so Tacoma got it. (Photo made in the rain, summer 1907) Timms's Archives"
