Description
An album of photographs, possibly assembled by Jock Taylor. At least some of the photos were taken by Bodurtha. Others were taken by Frederick Dally (many available through Library and Archives Canada). The images are believed to depict travels as part of the British Navy mainly aboard the HMS Zealous. Predominantly taken in 1870 and 1871 in South America, the United States, and British Columbia, it also includes images from Egypt in 1885. The photos are housed in a tattered blue album with the images glued onto the pages. Many photos include captions, though the writing is fading, and sometimes is recopied more legibly.
