Fisherman Publishing Society Collection

The Fisherman Publishing Society published The Fisherman for the Salmon Purse Seiners Union and continues to publish the newspaper for their successor union, the United Fisherman and Allied Workers' Union. Images from the collection document all aspects of the West Coast fishing industry, as well as non-fishing labour events in B.C.'s Lower Mainland.  The Fisherman Publishing Society Collection is part of UBC Library's Rare Books and Special Collections.
