14 [illegible entry] shark caught by Mr. MacMillan over side of Marijean; Feb. 22. Dog snapper caught trolling by H.R. MacMillan off the mouth of Rio Balsas. Weighed about 25 lbs. Frozen; Feb. 22. Large, gray serranid (about 25 lbs) purchased by H.R. MacMillan from fisherman at mouth of Rio Balsas. Frozen. Has high dorsal spines.
