C21 Catostomus catostomus (ser); C22 Pfrille neogaea (2); C35 Percopsis omiscomaycus (ser); C35 Percopsis omiscomaycus (cleared) (1); C22 Hybopsis plumbea (ser); C22 Rhinichthys cataractae (4); C64 Cottus ricei (ser); C22 Platygobio gracilis (ser); [handwritten note to third entry (P. omiscomaycus):] bottle w/ 10 specimens discarded due to damage (Sept. 2001); taken in still backwater; Platygobio taken by Indians on Fort Nelson R. + ground up for food. Said by Baptiste to not grow much larger than ones taken. Approved method used for this collection: placed small sack of dog meal + soap flakes in shallows (ca. 10" deep among stones), angle with small hook + piece of meat held against sack. Chub sometimes swarm around.
