C46 Trachurops crumenophthalmus (11); C10 Opisthonema libertate [note:] NMC (7); C45 Gerridae (?) [note:] NMC (1); C10 Clupeidae larvae [note:] NMC (ser); C10 Harengula thrissina (?) [note:] NMC (ser); C11 Anchoa sp. (ser); Many fish were seen but not captured. At the surface were clouds of crustaceans. Small larval fish swam among these and were often killed by them. Schools of darting, silvery scad swam rapidly in and out. Below these were occasional moonfish (Vomer) and still deeper and less frequent were fish about 24 inches long - possibly sierra or jacks.
