Description

Specimens? 30/10/72 T.K. [note]; About 400 large (14-20") fine scaled suckers were killed. There were relatively few fish actually present since spawning was restricted to the first several hundred feet.; 25 stomachs examined; no food in any. While in the steam they do not feed on eggs hence do not eat trout eggs.; 2 ripe female kamloops (about 18" long) and one small one (6") were killed. All in good condition. 2 suckers were stripped, the fertilized eggs to be preserved, also to be given to D. McA.
