Charles Darwin, "Down" to John Burdon-Sanderson. Wants to know if fibrin, areolar tissue, gelatin and other substances are allied in any way because they affect Drosera in a similar way. [Reply follows] Burdon-Sanderson suggests that the similarities may be due to the water solubility of certain substances. A.L.S. 1 p.
