Jennifer Rodriguez traces the life of her mother, Dolores Rodriguez, since moving to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1972 as a Filipino garment factory worker. Dolores Rodriguez found unexpected ways to connect with her culture while being far from the Philippines but has fully recognized Canada as her home.
