coloring and bracketing must be fitted, and must be fitted with
stiffeners to conform to requirements*
THWARTSHIP BRACING:-
Braces to be fitted as       n midship section of 4-1/2 x 3 £ 3/8
angle bar riveted to the bilge bracket at the heel, and to the bracket
at the too of the wing bulkhead. Another brace to extend frommtbe
brackets in way of the centre through plate to the bracket at ton
of the wing bulkhe      howfi on the m p section. These braces
to be fitted to every set of brackets.
DECK BEAMS:-
The deck beams to be 8 x 3 x 3 x 21 lbs. channel spaced 3 ft apart
The beams are to be continuous from side to side  and to have      er
of 10-1/2"*  Beams to be connected to frames by means of brackets as
herein before mentioned. All the riveting of brackets
with Lloyds requirements.  NOTE:- As the aprons are        it is
necessary to take the camber out of t1 e  deck at and re
apron fits.  This is done by keeping the centre raj    te rs st:
fore and aft and gradually working the deck b em
has no camber.  This is also made use of to give the she"1

SHELL PLATING:-

allowed.  Both longitudinals and transverse laps to be double riveted.
