Thank you for your letter of March 30, 19 72
your file T-72-30-10 concerning damage to
Johnston Trailer JV6-2329 on March 28, 1972.
The Johnston trailer was being assisted
into position by the Deckhand who was unaware
that the top of the Doman Trailer DT69 was
overhanging.

We certainly appreciate the time and trouble you
have taken to notify us of this incident♦
When the Johnston trailer was being parked on the
top deck, was the unit being directed and, if so,
was this attributed to the cause of the accident?

Dear Jim:
For your information we have received a report
concerning damage to a Johnston trailer No. JV6-2329.
At approximately 21:30 on March 28, 1972
Johnston trailer No. JV6-2329 suffered damage to
its rear doors whilst being parked on the top deck
of the "Doris Yorke".  This was caused by a collision
with an overhang on Doman trailer DT 69.  This trailer
was a flat deck with two empties on top, the top one
overhanging.  The deckhand on duty was R. Turner.
