GENERAL—FARES, SCHEDULES AND ALL OTHER INFORMATION PUBLISHED HEREIN ARE SUBJECT TO TARIFF

will not be responsible for damages resulting from failure of planes
to depart or arrive at times stated herein.
Fares quoted are in Canadian or U.S. Currency except within Canada,
which are in Canadian Currency.
RESERVATIONS will be cancelled by CPA unless tickets are
purchased at the time specified by the Company. Reservations for
return flights, stopover flights and flights originating at a point
other than where the reservation is booked, will be cancelled unless
reconfirmed by passengers with CPA at the city concerned.
DOMESTIC FLIGHTS by 4 p.m. local time the day previous for
flights departing before 12 noon. Other flights at least 6 hours
before departure. INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS—72 hours before
scheduled departure time.
TICKETS—Reduction on most round trip tickets. Normally the
period of validity for one way, round trip, circle and open jaw
tickets will be one year from date of issue. Children—Domestic
Flights—Accompanied children under two years of age for whom
seats are reserved and children two years of age and under twelve
years of age will be charged one-half of the applicable adult
fare. One child under two years of age not occupying a seat will
be carried free with each accompanying passenger twelve years
of age or over. Children under five years' of age must be accompanied by a passenger twelve years of age or over. Unaccompanied
children under twelve years of age, subject to tariff regulations,
will be charged the applicable adult fare. Children—International
Flights—Accompanied children two years of age or over, but under
twelve, generally will be charged half of the normal adult fare.
Children under two years of age generally will be charged 10%
of the normal adult fare, except that no charge will be assessed
for carriage wholly within the area comprised of Alaska, Canada,
Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Mexico,
Nassau and Continental U.S.A. Only one child under two years
of age not occupying a seat will be carried free (or at 10% as above)
with each accompanying adult; additional children will be charged
half fare. Unaccompanied children under twelve years of age,
subject to tariff regulations, will be charged half the applicable
adult fare.
BAGGAGE—Domestic Flights—40 pounds baggage will be carried
free on each adult ticket, excess of that poundage chargeable at
one half of one per cent of the one way first class fare, per pound.
International Flights—30 Kilos (66 lbs.) will be carried free of charge
on de luxe and first class tickets. 20 kilos (44 lbs.) on tourist and
economy fares. Excess poundage chargeable at one per cent
of the one way first class fare per kilo (2.2 lbs.).
SCHEDULED DEPARTURE—In order that flights may leave
on time, and also to avoid inconvenience to fellow passengers,
it is requested that passengers "check in" at the airport counter
as follows: DOMESTIC FLIGHTS—30 minutes before departure
time. INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS—1 hour before departure
time.
MEALS—Complimentary meals are served at appropriate times
on all international and transcontinental flights, also on certain
domestic flights.
INTERNATIONAL REQUIREMENTS—Passengers are responsible for possessing such documents as required by the laws of the
countries from and into which they are to fly. While CPA agencies
normally can advise you what documents are necessary we cannot
guarantee that the information is current. For official information
contact the nearest Consulate of the country you propose to visit.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION-CPA does not provide ground
transportation service between airport and city, except at Hong
Kong, Auckland and Sydney. Such services are operated by independent companies and fares are payable direct by the passenger.
At Honolulu, Vancouver and Amsterdam CPA Passengers in transit
are provided ground transportation when such is necessary.
