GENERAL—Fares, schedules and all other information published herein are subject to Tariff
Regulations and change without notice. Carriers listed herein will not be responsible tor
damages resulting from failure of planes to depart or arrive at times stated herein.
Fares quoted are in Canadian Currency except as noted.
RESERVATIONS will be cancelled by CPA unless tickets are purchased at the time specified
by the Company. Reservations for return flights, stopover flights and flights originating at
a point other than where the reservation is booked, will be cancelled unless reconfirmed
by passengers with CPA at the city concerned at least 6 hours prior to flight departure time
for Domestic Flights, and 72 hours prior to flight departure time for International Flights.
TICKETS—Reduction on most round trip tickets. Normally the period of validity for one way,
round trip, circle and open jaw tickets will be one year from date of issue. Children—Domestic
Flights—under two years of age for whom seats are reserved and children two years of age
and under twelve years of age will be charged one half of the applicable adult fare. One child
under two years of age not occupying a seat, will be carried free with each accompanying
passenger twelve years of age or over. Children under five years of age must be accompanied
by a passenger twelve years of age or over: Children—International Flights—Accompanied
children two years of age or over, but under twelve, will be charged half of the normal adult
fare. Children under two years of age generally will be charged 10^ of the normal adult
fare, except that no charge will be assessed for carriage wholly within the area comprised
of Alaska, Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Nassau
and Continental U.S.A. Only one child under two years of age not occupying a seat will be
carried free (or at 10% as above) with each accompanying adult; additional children will
be charged half fare.
BAGGAGE—Domestic Flights—40 pounds baggage will be carried free on each adult ticket,
excess of that poundage chargeable at one half of one per cent of the one way fare, per pound.
International Flights—30 Kilos (66 lbs.) will be carried free of charge on first class tickets.
44 lbs. on tourist class tickets. Baggage weight in excess of the above is chargeable in accordance with Company Tariffs.
SCHEDULED DEPARTURE—In order that flights may leave on time, and also to avoid inconvenience to fellow passengers, it is requested that passengers "check in" at the airport counter
as follows: DOMESTIC FLIGHTS-30 minutes before departure time. INTERNATIONAL
FLIGHTS—1 hour before departure time.
MEALS—Complimentary meals are served at conventional times on all international flights
and on certain domestic flights.
INTERNATIONAL REQUIREMENTS—Passengers are responsible for possessing such
documents as required by the laws of the countries from and into which they are to fly. While
CPA agencies normally can advise you what documents are necessary we cannot guarantee
that the information is current. For official information contact the nearest Consulate of the
country you propose to visit.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION—CPA does not provide ground transportation service*.
Such services are operated by independent companies and fares are payable direct by the
passenger.
