Canadian Pacific Air Lines will inaugurate
a fast, frequent passenger and express service from
Vancouver via the short northern route to Japan and
China.
International Information and Regulations
GENERAL—Fares, schedules and other information published
herein are subject to tariff regulations and change without notice.
Current tariffs are open to public inspection.
TICKETS—10% reduction on round-trip tickets. Normally the
period of validity for one-way, round-trip, circle and open-jaw trip
tickets will be one year from the date of issue.
RESERVATIONS—May be made through any Canadian Pacific
office or Travel Agency and a deposit of 10% of the fare is required
when making application. Balance of fare will be payable not less
than 7 days before scheduled departure of flight.
CHECK-IN AT POINT OF EMBARKATION—To permit
checking of baggage and government and other formalities passengers arriving by train, boat or bus should arrive the day before
scheduled flight departure. Passengers arriving by air should
arrive not later than six hours prior to scheduled flight departure.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS—Passengers must be in possession of
valid passports, visas, health certificates and/or other documents
required by the countries from, over, or into which they fly. Any
Canadian Pacific office or Travel Agency will gladly provide information in this connection.
CUSTOMS—Passengers may consult any Canadian Pacific office
for information concerning customs regulations pertaining to the
countries involved en route.
CURRENCY REGULATIONS—Passengers should contact their
bankers to familiarize themselves with the currency regulations of
the various countries involved in their flight.
BAGGAGE—30 kilos (66 lbs.) will be carried free of charge on each
adult or half fare ticket. In addition each passenger may carry,
at no extra charge, a reasonable supply of reading material, one
overcoat, one lady's handbag or purse, one umbrella, one binoculars,
and one small camera. All baggage weight in excess of the above
is subject to charge in accordance with company tariffs. Passengers
should include a small overnight bag in their luggage for convenience
at overnight stops.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION, MEALS, ENROUTE—Fare includes hotel accommodation and meals at Honolulu and Fiji during
scheduled stopovers and all gratuities and meals served in flight.
SURFACE TRANSPORTATION—Transport is provided free of
charge between the city and airport at Vancouver and at Honolulu.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION—Will be provided by any Canadian Pacific office or your favorite Travel Agency.
