THE FASTEST ONLY NON-STOP SERVICE
FROM EASTERN AND WESTERN CANADA You'll feel the magic of Mexico the moment you
breathe its perfumed air. It will weave its spell about
you the very first night you dine in the moonlight,
serenaded by romantic Mariachis. And wherever you
go, the friendly people of Mexico will share your delight, echo your laughter. What will you do? Anything
under the sun! Swim in orchid strewn pools. "Do the
town" on a gay whirl through Mexico City's glittering
cabarets, spectacular theatres, off-beat cafes. Visit
magnificent cathedrals and palaces of the Spanish
Conquest ... ancient Aztec temples and pyramids.
How about a bullfight Sunday afternoon? Or perhaps
a brilliant display of horsemanship called a "char-
reada" will appeal to you. With a gay party, cruise
Lake Patzcuaro and watch Indians fish with graceful
butterfly nets. Explore the winding streets of hideaway villages and shop for jewellery, serapes, pottery
in their exciting native markets. Relax and play with
the fashionable "International set" at fabulous Aca-
pulco's satin-smooth beaches, sophisticated casinos
and nightclubs.
If you're in Mexico City during November, you'll thrill
to opening ceremonies of the bullfighting season with
parades of proud matadors in their embroidered, jewel
encrusted coats, prancing steeds, impassioned music!
a
In December, there's the great silver fair in Taxco,
with fireworks, parades, sports events and a gay Silver
Ball! Every week there are colourful fiestas, made
merry with guitar and marimba. Check with Canadian
Pacific or your Travel Agent for the outstanding events
taking place during your stay in Mexico.
