1st DAY, SUNDAY—Fly to Mexico City by Canadian Pacific Airlines Jet
Empress from VANCOUVER, CALGARY, MONTREAL or TORONTO. Upon
arrival you will be met and transferred io the hotel of your choice: Del
Prado, Plaza Vista Hermosa, Reforma or Geneve. Overnight.
2nd DAY, MONDAY—At 10 a.m. your guide will meet you in the lobby of
your hotel in order to begin a four-hour tour of the city's highlights. Free
afternoon. Overnight.
3rd DAY, TUESDAY—At 9:30 a.m., after checking out of your room, leave
with your guide. After visiting University City, and Cuernavaca enroute,
arrive at Taxco. Check into Hotel De La Borda, or Posada de la Mision in
time for lunch. Afternoon sightseeing. Dinner and overnight.
4th DAY, WEDNESDAY—After breakfast continue to Acapulco. Check into
Hotel Palacio Tropical or Del Monte. Your guide will bid farewell. Lunch,

5th DAY, THURSDAY—In Acapulco. Three meals and overnight at the
Palacio Tropical or Del Monte.
6th DAY, FRIDAY—After breakfast transfer to the airport to board your

7th DAY, SATURDAY—At 10 a.m., and escorted by your guide, leave on a
six-hour tour to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the Pyramids'

3rd DAY, FRIDAY—At 10 a.m. your guide will be ready to take you on a
four-hour tour of the city's highlights. During this tour he will explain in

4th DAY, SATURDAY—Your guide will be at the lobby of your hotel by
10 a.m. in order to escort you on a tour visiting: The Shrine of Our Lady
of Guadalupe, religious center of Mexico. On to San Juan Teotihuacan,
site of the famed Pyramids to the Sun and the Moon. You will visit too:
The ruins of the Temple to Quetzalcoatl, the Citadel and the Museum.
Lunch will be served at one of the restaurants in the zone. Return to
your hotel approximately at 4 p.m. Overnight.
5th DAY, SUNDAY—Once again at 10 a.m. your guide will be ready to
escort you on a tour full of sightseeing adventures. First stop is the
Castle in Chapultepec Park, former residence of Maximilian and Carlotta
during their brief reign in Mexico. On to Xoehimilco, the Floating Gardens
for a ride along the canals, on a native trajinera. Your guide will provide
box lunches, and flowers for the ladies. Return to your hotel approximately
at 2 p.m. Free afternoon. Overnight.
6th DAY, MONDAY—FREE DAY. Overnight.
7th DAY, TUESDAY—After checking out of your hotel, be ready by 9:30
a.m. to leave with your guide on a tour to Taxco and Acapulco. After
visiting enroute University City, arrive at Cuernavaca, the city of eternal
Spring, where you will visit the Palace of Cortez. Continue on to Taxco,
the silver city. Check into Hotel De La Borda, or Posada de la Mision, in
time for lunch. Afternoon sightseeing includes lovely Santa Prisca Church,
Figueroa's House of Tears and some of the silver shops, for which Taxco
is so renowned. Dinner and overnight.
8th DAY, WEDNESDAY—After breakfast check out of the hotel. Continue
on to Acapulco, the Pearl of the Pacific. Arrive in time for lunch at your
hotel the Tropical Palace or Del Monte. Your guide will say farewell to
you. Dinner and overnight.
9th DAY, THURSDAY—In Acapulco. All day to enjoy the sun and the sea.
Three meals and overnight at your hotel.

11th DAY, SATURDAY—After breakfast transfer to the airport to board
any of the flights available to Mexico City. Take your own taxi to Hotel in

2nd DAY, TUESDAY—At 10 a.m. your guide will be ready at the hotel to
escort you on a four-hour tour of the city's highlights. During this tour
you will see one of the world's biggest capitals, where you may see
modern building complexes, old churches, ruins of the amazing Tenoch-
titlan (the ancient Aztec capital), and many interesting scenes. Free afternoon. Overnight.
3rd DAY, WEDNESDAY—This morning you will take your own taxi to Hotel
Cristobal Colon, or just be at the front door of this hotel if you are
staying in it, in order to leave at 9 a.m. in the limousine to San Jose
Purua. Please be at the Colon by 8:45 a.m. at the latest; all hotels
included in this itinerary are within a short distance from the Cristobal
Colon.
Leave Mexico City via one of the most beautiful roads in the Republic,
driving through Toluca and on to Zitacuaro, where you leave the main
highway and take the side road to San Jose Purua, the wonder spa. Check
into the hotel in time for lunch. San Jose Purua is more than a spat, it
is a most comfortable hotel set in the midst of semi-tropical gardens
with pine trees, and tropical vegetation giving it a unique atmosphere;
to this you add four swimming pools, a waterfall, excellent food, a night
club with stalagmites and stalactites, and you will feel time is short in
order to see and do all that is available. Dinner and overnight.
4th DAY, THURSDAY—A full day at San Jose Purua, three meals and
overnight. Care for a hike, a mud bath or just relax and get tanned? You
just have to say the word.
5th DAY, FRIDAY—Breakfast and lunch at the hotel, which allows you
another morning to enjoy San Jose Purua. In the early afternoon board
your limousine to return to Mexico City. Take your own cab to your hotel.
Overnight.
6th DAY, SATURDAY—Once again at 10 a.m. your guide will be at the
hotel to escort you on a six-hours tour to Teotihuacan, site of the Pyramids. Enroute you will stop at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the
most important Catholic temple in Mexico, not because of its designation,
but because it houses the revered image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, centre
of thousands of pilgrims' trips during the whole year. On to Teotihuacan
where the Pyramids are the centre of attraction. There are two massive
constructions, the biggest one dedicated to the Sun, and the smaller one
to the Moon. Other sightseeing includes the ruins of the Temple to Quet-
zalcoatl, and the museum. Lunch at one of the restaurants in the zone.
Return to Mexico City approximately at 4:30 p.m. Overnight.
7th DAY, SUNDAY—As usual, your guide will be ready by 10 a.m. at the
hotel, this time to escort you on a tour full of color and Sunday "Fiesta".
First stop is the Castle in Chapultepec Park, where Maximilian and Carlotta
lived during their brief and tragic reign. The Castle is now a museum of
Mexican history, full of mementos from the Conquest to the Revolution
epochs. Afterwards, leave with your guide to Xoehimilco. This place is
called "the Floating Gardens", the "Venice of Mexico", and other such
names. You will board a native trajinera boat to go along the canals, while
gay mariachi music fills the air. Your guide will provide box lunches, and
flowers for the ladies. In the afternoon, you will attend the bullfights.
Tickets on the shady side and transportation back to the hotel are included. Overnight.
8th DAY, MONDAY—FREE DAY to browse on your own, and to prepare
yourself for another trip. Overnight at your hotel.
9th DAY, TUESDAY—After checking out of your hotel, leave at 9:30 a.m.
on the most popular tour in Mexico: the silver route to Acapulco, via
Cuernavaca and Taxco. Before leaving the capital visit University City,
major house of studies in the Republic. Continue to the city of eternal
Spring, and a favorite with foreigners that stay in Mexico to live: Cuernavaca. See the Palace of Cortez. Motor on to Taxco, where silver manufacturing has made this town a "must" for every first-time traveller to
Mexico. Arrive at your hotel, De La Borda, or Posada de la Mision in time

6th DAY, WEDNESDAY—OAXACA - this morning you will be transferred to
the airport for a short, early flight to Oaxaca City... called the Emerald
City as most of its colonial buildings are ornately embellished with green
marble. You will be welcomed and escorted to your hotel. During the
morning visit the ruins of Monte Alban. In the afternoon see the Indian
markets, the city, its museums and ornate churches. This is a melting
pot of races, and civilizations of Mexico where you may see the Zapotec
and Mixtec Indians wearing their authentic costumes and intermingling
in the colonial streets—old and new civilizations. Lunch, dinner and
overnight at your hotel.
7th DAY, THURSDAY—IN OAXACA - morning will be spent visiting Mitla.

you will arrive in Cuernavaca, the city of eternal Spring, to visit the
murals of Diego Rivera at the Palace of Cortez. Continue on to Taxco,
the lazy town of cobblestoned streets untouched by the present civilization. Check into the hilltop Hotel de la Borda or Posada de la Mision.

1st DAY, MONDAY—Leave MONTREAL or TORONTO by Canadian Pacific
Airlines Jet Empress. Welcome to Mexico where you will be met at the
airport and escorted to the hotel of your choice. Overnight in Mexico City.
2nd DAY, TUESDAY—FREE DAY - overnight at your hotel.
3rd DAY, WEDNESDAY—CITY TOUR-at 10:00 a.m. you will be met at
the lobby of your hotel in order to start on a comprehensive tour of
Mexico City, explained in detail by our bilingual conductor. Four hours
will be spent showing you the highlights of the city, that now counts
over 6 million inhabitants. Overnight at your hotel.
4th DAY, THURSDAY—OAXACA-this morning you will be transferred to
the airport for a short, early flight to Oaxaca City... called the Emerald
City as most of its colonial buildings are ornately embellished with green
marble. You will be welcomed and escorted to your hotel. During the morning visit the ruins of Monte Alban.  In the afternoon see the Indian
markets, the city, its museums and ornate churches. This is a melting pot
of races, and civilizations of Mexico where you may see the Zapotec and
Mixtec Indians wearing their authentic costumes and intermingling in
the colonial streets—old and new civilizations. Lunch, dinner and overnight at your hotel.
5th DAY, FRIDAY—Morning will be spent visiting Mitla. Afternoon for
relaxing. Three meals and overnight at your hotel.
6th DAY, SATURDAY—DEPARTURE FROM OAXACA - after breakfast you
will be escorted to the airport to board your return flight to Mexico City.
Transfer from the airport to your hotel. Overnight.
7th DAY, SUNDAY—XOCHIMILCO - at 10 a.m. your guide will be ready to
escort you on a tour full of sightseeing adventures. First stop is at the
Castle in Chapultepec Park, where Maximilian and Carlotta lived during
their brief reign. Continue to the Floating Gardens of Xoehimilco, where
you will board a native "trajinera" to glide along the canals. Your guide
will provide box lunches and flowers for the ladies. Return to your hotel.

8th DAY, MONDAY—FREE DAY - overnight at your hotel.
9th DAY, TUESDAY—PYRAMIDS-at 10 a.m. start a 6-hour tour to the
renowned Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Pyramids to the Sun and
the Moon, the Citadel, and the Museum. Lunch at one of the best
restaurants at the Pyramids. Return to your hotel approximately at 4 p.m.

10th DAY, WEDNESDAY—FREE DAY - overnight at your hotel.
11th DAY, THURSDAY—UNIVERSITY CITY, CUERNAVACA AND TAXCO - at
9:30 a.m. after you have checked out of your room, our conductor will
be ready in order to begin your unforgettable trip to University City,
Cuernavaca, Taxco and Acapulco. After visiting enroute University City,
you will arrive in Cuernavaca, the city of eternal Spring, to visit the murals
of Diego Rivera at the Palace of Cortez. Continue on to Taxco, the lazy
town of cobblestoned streets untouched by the present civilization. Check
into the hilltop Hotel de la Borda or Posada de la Mision. After lunch,
wander around with conductor, or by yourself if so desired, through the
quaint streets of Taxco lined by innumerable silver shops. You will find
the ornate Santa Prisca most interesting, and the structure of pink stone
quite unique. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight in Taxco.
12th DAY, FRIDAY—ACAPULCO - after breakfast please be ready at 9:30
a.m. in order to continue to Acapulco with your conductor, who will be
unconditionally at your service. After travelling through the tropical
scenery of the road between Taxco and Acapulco, you will be checked in
at the all-air conditioned Tropical Palace Hotel or Del Monte. Your conductor will say farewell to you after seeing you properly installed. You
