SATURDAY FIRST DAY
BIENVENIDOS! WELCOME TO MEXICO!
The fun begins the moment you step on to Mexican soil—the welcoming ceremony for members of the group arriving from Toronto and Montreal. Corsages for the ladies, Mexican sombreros for the men. Then guides assist you
through the brief Immigration formalities, and limousines waft you to your hotel. The holiday has started!
SUNDAY SECOND DAY
WITH YOUR NEW FRIENDS TO THE FLOATING GARDENS
Every couple in the group, from all parts of the United States and Canada, has plenty of time to reach the hotel
and unpack before the INTRODUCTION BREAKFAST at the Hotel Del Prado, one of Mexico's finest. This is
where you first meet all your friends of the Fiesta Tour. From there special cars take you all to explore the loveliness
of the FLOATING GARDENS OF XOCHIMILCO. After lunch at the distinguished LA CAVA RESTAURANT
you are taken to your shaded reserved seats in the world's largest arena to witness the spectacle and drama Of a
Latin bullfight. Dinner that evening is at the famous FOCOLARE RESTAURANT, in a heady atmosphere of soft
lights and Latin music.
MONDAY THIRD DAY
THE STIMULATING CONTRAST OF NEW AND OLD MEXICO
In the morning there is a tour of this ancient city's points of interest, followed by lunch at the NORMANDY
RESTAURANT, famous for its French cuisine. Then there is UNIVERSITY CITY, with architectural masterpieces
that surpass any similar group of buildings in the world. The evening will be a gala occasion with a two-hour floor
show of NATIVE DANCERS in their striking costumes, whirling to strange pulsing music. Then to late dinner at
the AMBASSADEURS RESTAURANT, a noted rendezvous for gourmets.

TUESDAY FOURTH DAY
A DAY'S TRIP BACK THROUGH THE CENTURIES
The magnificent ruins and pyramids of SAN JUAN TEOTIHUACAN are awe-inspiring reminders of the ancient Aztec civilization, and your morning seems all too brief in its beauty and
interest. After lunch you are free to shop for silver, leather and scores of other fascinating
souvenirs of Mexico, at a third of Canadian prices. The NATIVE NIGHT CLUB TOUR is
the event of the evening—leisurely visits to a number of clubs in all their glamour and variety,
with dining and wining until the very small hours. MAKING FRIENDS WITH CPA
You're on your way to Mexico! And what a wonderful
way to start your holiday—making friends with other
married couples in the restful comfort of a mighty air -
liner far away from all cares and worries.
It's rather difficult to be reserved when the cocktail hour
soon comes round, and when the beautifully served meals
prove to be as interesting and satisfying as they look.
Of course you're free as air to pass the time as you please:
reading the newspapers and magazines supplied, writing
letters or sleeping cosily in the blankets and pillows provided. (For CPA meets all those needs, and more). But
friends are easily made when games and amusements are
arranged and all your wants anticipated by such thoughtful
Stewardesses.
Canadian Pacific Airlines think of everything for you.
You'll find that out for yourself very quickly. They take pride
and pleasure in making you feel quite at home. You cannot
but rest, relax and enjoy yourself in that atmosphere.
By the time you bid the Stewardesses a smiling goodbye
you will find your happy holiday is well under way. You will
find you have made more friends than you expected, including a rather special one: Canadian Pacific Airlines.

WEDNESDAY FIFTH DAY
THE EMPEROR'S SUMMER PALACE
Your party heads for CUERNAVACA whose mild climate and picturesque
beauty made it the favourite resort of the Emperor Maximilian and his Empress Carlotta. You will see the BORDA GARDENS, the PALACE OF
CORTES and other absorbing places before lunching at the exclusive Hotel
Posada Jacaranda. Late in the afternoon you reach TAXCO and the Hotel De
La Borda where the swimming pool commands a wonderful panoramic view
of this ancient silver-mining town.
THURSDAY SI^TH DAY
TAXCO-THEN ON TO ACAPULCO
Browsing and strolling through this charming hillside town is a delightful way to spend the morning. The Church of
Santa Prisca is a famous example of churrigueresque design, and contains superb works of art. There are shops displaying exquisitely fashioned native silver, set with semi-precious stones. You'll be astonished at the low prices.
After lunch, continue on to ACAPULCO, on the Pacific, arriving in the late afternoon.
FRIDAY SEVENTH DAY
YOUR WEEKEND OF SUN AND FUN
There's nothing quite like the freedom of a weekend in Acapulco—the sunny exhilaration of boating, swimming and
water-skiing, or the lazy pleasure of sunbathing, dozing or strolling about the town. After lunch there is fun afloat on
a yachting trip around the lovely harbour. The evening brings the HOLIDAY ON SKIS SHOW, a spectacular display of skill, action and colour on water.
SATURDAY EIGHTH DAY
LEISURE AND EXCITING SPORT AT ACAPULCO
Acapulco's luxurious tropical resorts, set on great rocks,
have a unique character. Your visit this morning to the
Hotel El Presidente and the Hotel Pierre Marquez will imprint this character even deeper on your memory. You'll
enjoy a swim from the Revolcadero Beach, returning for a
late lunch at the hotel. Then there's an afternoon of doing
just what you like. But don't miss the evening's attraction:
the JAI ALAI GAMES, the fastest sport in the world, and
an exciting end to a perfect day. SUNDAY NINTH DAY
GO TROPICAL IN ACAPULCO!
A morning of doing just as you please in Acapulco. Here on "Mexico's
Riviera" there are splendid beaches framed by rugged cliffs, and attractions in
plenty for everyone—for the sightseer, historian, shopper, nature-lover, sportsman, photographer or idler. And the evening's highlights are dining and
dancing at the LA PERLA NIGHT CLUB where you watch the fabulous
ACAPULCO DIVERS plunging 150 feet into the swirling waters of the gorge.
MONDAY TENTH DAY
A FIESTA IS ENDING
If you'll be returning via Montreal or Toronto you're free until 6 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, when Aeronaves de
Mexico Flight 112 takes you to Mexico City in good time for your connecting Flight 405 by CPA, taking off at 8 a.m.
If you'll be returning via Vancouver you have today and Tuesday free. On Wednesday at 7 a.m. you will take Flight
112 Aeronaves de Mexico to Mexico City, arriving at 8 a.m. and connecting with CPA Flight 401 which takes off an
hour later.
"Enjoy Life!" is Acapulco's motto, and it is infectious. Make the most of your time by improving your suntan or
taking an excursion round the harbour in a glass-bottomed boat to view the amazing colour of the ocean bed. Life in
the tropics is so full of sun and pleasure.
You'll never forget your glorious Mexican Fiesta. Hasta La Vista!
MONDAY TENTH DAY
BACK TO THE HIGHLANDS
THE FIFTEEN-DAY FIESTA GROUP is taken to the airport to board Flight 12 Aeronaves de Mexico, leaving for
Mexico City at 10 a.m. and arriving at 11. Limousines whisk you to CHOLULA, the ancient Holy City of the Aztecs,
which had 365 pyramids until Cortes destroyed them and erected 365 churches in their place. You must see the main
pyramid, the only survivor, with the church on top. For this is the charm of your Fiesta Holiday—its tropical setting
amid the rich historical associations of an ancient civilization. Then on to colonial PUEBLA, staying overnight at
the Hotel Lastra.
TUESDAY ELEVENTH DAY
"THE ROME OF AMERICA"-PUEBLA DE
LOS ANGELES
There is ample time this morning for you to see the stately
Cathedral with its rare paintings, and two local factories where
onyx and pottery are produced in all their beauty and variety.
After lunch you ride on to the beautiful spa of PENAFIEL,
and the deluxe Hotel Penafiel where rooms are waiting for you. ■ \fa»». Mil
WEDNESDAY TWELFTH DAY
MOUNTAINS, FLOWERS AND FRAGRANCE-
FORTIN DE LAS FLORES
An eventful day starts with your ride to ORIZABA and the scenic beauty of
its valley. Then on to FORTIN DE LAS FLORES at the foot of "Pico de
Orizaba", the highest mountain in Mexico, snow-capped and spectacular.
You lunch at the Hotel Ruiz Galindo where the swimming pool is a mass of
floating gardenias. The profusion of orchids, gardenias and camellias in this
lovely town make an indelible impression of fragrance and colour. Finally
to CORDOBA, renowned for its lush vegetation of coffee and tobacco
crops, before returning to Penafiel.
THURSDAY THIRTEENTH DAY
BACK TO THE CENTRE OF COLOURFUL MEXICO
See more of Penafiel this morning: its quiet village life and the beauty of its surrounding country. After lunch at your
hotel you will return directly to Mexico City for your last full day of the Fiesta Tour.
FRIDAY FOURTEENTH DAY
FAREWELL TO MEXICO! HASTA LA VISTA!
Now is the time to make those last-minute purchases and use up that last
film. Make full use of the day to round off your Mexican Holiday. The
climax is the FAREWELL FIESTA in the evening at the fabulous JACAR-
ANDA NIGHT CLUB. Drink a toast to the friends you've made, and to
your return one day to this enchanting land of vivid contrasts and tropical
beauty!
Half an hour after midnight Canadian Pacific Airlines' Flight 401 takes off
with those of you returning via Toronto and Montreal.
SATURDAY FIFTEENTH DAY
If you're returning via Vancouver you have yet one more day of experiences in Mexico City. Your Canadian Pacific
Flight 403 leaves at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning, Sunday. PRICE PER PERSON 1T ,,I1T ■ MU.
