NEW AS TOMORROW — Equipment
"new as Tomorrow" and the experience of
many yesterdays combine to make this
new series of deluxe streamlined all-stainless steel cars — first in Canada — the
most significant advance in rail travel in
Canadian history.
SCENIC DOME VISTAS — Scenic
Domes open vistas of scenery never before
fully appreciated — for both economy and
deluxe travel on the longest dome ride in
the world — the Canadian Pacific transcontinental Scenic Dome route!
DISTINCTIVELY CANADIAN — Decorative treatment in the new cars is
distinctively Canadian — from original
paintings by members of the Royal
Canadian Academy of Arts in the intimate
Mural Lounge and Main Lounge of the
Scenic Dome Lounge-Sleeper to the flora,
fauna and characteristic features of every
province of Canada cleverly interwoven by
the designer into a complete Canadian
pattern. Pastel shades for ceiling and wall
treatments in every type of new car are
deftly blended with drapes- anct carpets
specially woven in exclusive designs.
Etched glass, carved coloured linoleum,
plastics, paintings, silk screens and photo-
murals carry the Canadian theme into
every car.

Scenic Domes for coach and sleeping car passengers — another step
in Canadian Pacific's comprehensive modernization programme!
