reement with The We1..  Republic,   G.   Bl   Simon,   Superintendent,
I, R. A. right have this day, July 26th 1921, agreed to
repair one big room, size 30T X 42' on the North end of the
Cormorant  Block.
I agree  to  repair  the  roof by recovering with  three-plier
roofing;  reset  the  loose bricks;   to broom down the  inside parts;
and  thoroughly white wash with lime;   and to  put four n ndows
in the ends; two in the north end and two in the south end, size
4'2 6'   and to cut  one   door  in the south-west corner.
AED to  brick up  two  doors  on the   east   side and make windo1
in above;   on est  side  same  as  above;  to put a beam across
the room north and south, size is to be 6" X 8" full length; and
two posts to support beam underneath; and to put Eip-joists from
rafters to beam on every other rafter across  the room.
AND to  clean window frames and doors  inside  and outside and
to paint  them.
to make two concrete bases not exceeding 41  Z 10"  and
8'  X 8'   for the Printing Machines  the   said concrete bases  to  be
built upon solid foundations and to reach to   the level of th©
ground floor of the present   building.
AIED to  build a  shed  on the  south end of  the above mentioned
room,  full size,   ana to gable up each end     :_     galvanized iron,
for  the   sum of Five hundred and  sixtf-tnree(v563.00)   dollars.
AID I have  also agreed   to remove  the sign   and to build  the
south side  of   Cormorant Block and to clean and paint the whole
front for   the  sum of One hundred and  sixly   (160.00)   dollars
and  to give  it  two coats  of paint.
I have   requested of the Company to pay me the   sum of Two
hundred  ($200.00)  dollars the first week and each week One   •
hundred  ($100.00)   dollars until finished,   then the whole sum
must be  paid over to  me  in full.     I have promised to   finish
