Dear Miss Tanner:
As requested in your letter of September 12, I have pleasure
in forwarding herewith 25 copies of our 1977 brochure, which
show the deck plan, together with 25 copies of the ship's
Daily Bulletin. It is regretted that our 1978 brochures are
not yet available from the printers, but copies of the rate
sheets for 1978 are also enclosed.
Under separate cover, I am forwarding you two posters showing
our vessel the "Princess Patricia" in Alaskan waters.
The "Princess Patricia" occupies a unique position in Alaska
cruise circlas in that she is the only vessel operating on
this coast'^rcrvnegotiate the narrow Wrangell Channel and the
famous Tracy Arm, at the end of which are some of the most
spectacular glaciers in Alaska. There are very few trips in
which the end of Tracy Arm is not reached (none this year so
far) .
I wish you every success with your Tourism and Travel Counsellor
Program.

Ms. J.M. Santocono
109 Duplex Avenue
Toronto, Ontario
H5P 2A6
Dear Ms. Santocono:
Reference your letter of 6 July 1977, concerning
employment on our Alaska vessel the "Princess
Patricia."
The "Princess Patricia" is an older vessel and owing to her
conformation she has very limited accommodation for female
crew, only four in fact, which are taken up by the Stewardess,
Hairdresser, Gift Shop Attendant and Entertainer. In any
event, all positions on the vessel are filled and we have a
very long waiting list of applicants.
The only opportunity for employment would be that of Coffee
Room Attendant aboard our ferry the "Princess of Vancouver."
Our busy season runs from approximately May to the end of
September at which time the additional personnel hired for
the summer are "laid off." If you wish to be considered for
work next season, kindly re-apply in January or February, 1978.
Sorry we cannot be of more assistance at the present time, but
thank you for your interest in Canadian Pacific.
Yours truly,
Manager, B.C.C.S.S,
