WHEREASj
This is the only foreign
race in Canada that is discriminated against in such a
brut el and inhuman manner.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:    That we,
members of -.<-.
empaf-tically protest against these conditions and resolve;
1.      Equality in ell respects with
other races be granted to the  Chinese
Unemployed Workers on relief and the

2.      The enactment   of the demands
of the petition which was presented to
the Provincial Cabinet on December 7th,
1934,  asking for:
AJP>od allowance of 45/ per day to
all single persons, a minimum of $1.75
per  person per week for room allowance
and an immediate outfitting of single
persons w:th suitable winter  clothing
and the estab] iahment of a clothing ait—|
lowance amounting to 40 per cent of the
above food allowance.
3-      That    all those Chinese workers who  regietered fo^ returning te
China end who  have  siuce   changed their
minus, be re im tat&c! bgck on relief.
