Banff Springs Hotel
Canadian Pacific offers three memorable tours of the Canadian
Rockies, each packaged complete and covering all expenses
from arrival in the mountains to departure. These pleasure
packages, available at any time to suit you — mid-June to
mid-September — include six, four and two-day itineraries including Banff Springs Hotel and Chateau Lake Louise. All inclusive
costs cover meals and room, local sightseeing, 90 miles of
motoring through spectacular scenery, transfers and hand-baggage
between stations and hotels. Tours to (It taste and purse
"Ready-wrapped" to fit times and purses, Canadian
Rockies Playgrounds Tours come in six, four and two-day
sizes. Each includes: Motor trip between Field Station
and Chateau Lake Louise via Emerald Lake, Yoho Valley,
the "Big Hill" and The Great Divide — table d'hote meals
and room at Chateau Lake Louise and Banff Springs
Hotel — 40 miles of motoring between Lake Louise and
Banff — 18 mile side-trip to Moraine Lake or pony trip
at Lake Louise—22 mile sightseeing tour of Banff's attractions
— transfer to station. All three packages have the same
itinerary — the difference in cost is represented by
shorter stays evenly divided between magnificent Banff
Springs Hotel and Chateau Lake Louise. Start your tour
any time you like in the season. Start from the east or
the west as you like. See complete itinerary overleaf.
SIX-DAY TOUR.
Trains from the east arrive at Banff in the morning and
afternoon and your all-expense mountain holiday starts with
a bus ride through Banff to Banff Springs Hotel,, where
you'll enjoy delicious table d'hote meals and the acme in

comfort for three days and nights. Motoring includes
a sightseeing tour around Banff and — after breakfast
on the fourth day — the spectacular 40-mile drive to
Lake Louise via Johnson's Canyon.
Luncheon, with Victoria Glacier mirrored in the lake
outside your window, starts the three days and nights at
Chateau Lake Louise. Here, you have your choice of a
mountain-pony ride — escorted by a dude wrangler —
or a motor trip to Moraine Lake. On the seventh morning
the plastic-roofed bus takes you over The Great Divide,
through the Kicking Horse Pass, Yoho Valley and Cathedral
Avenue to Emerald Lake and Field, where you board
the Westbound train.
From the west your all-expense tour starts with an
after-luncheon arrival at Field, the scenic motor trip
and dinner at Chateau Lake Louise. The Banff Springs
Hotel stay starts with dinner on the fourth day and
ends with breakfast and motor to the train on the seventh day.
FOUR- AND TWO-DAY TOURS.
If time presses or the holiday budget won't compress,
the Four- and Two-Day Tours have an answer ready for
you. These all-expense mountain holidays pack all the
features of the six-day tour into shorter time. You see
all of the magnificent scenery, you enjoy the luxury of
Banff Springs Hotel and Chateau Lake Louise and cover
every mile of the mountain highway sightseeing just the
same, dividing your time between the two luxurious hotels. CANADIAN ROCKIES PLAYGROUNdS TOUR

However you look at it, your tour of the Canadian Rockies will be a
"high-line" holiday. You'll be "on top of the world" amid the scenic
grandeur of two or Canada's National Parks, Banff and Yoho. Rushing
rivers, tumbling torrents, glittering cascades, fragrant forests, wild-flower
starred uplands, mountain trails, elk, deer, caribou, marmot, magpies,
"whiskey-jacks", fool-hens, big-horn sheep, bears, mountain ponies, dude
wranglers—all these combine with bracing mountain air to make your
visits to Banff Springs Hotel and Chateau Lake Louise the "high-line" of
your Canadian Pacific holiday experience on the "high line of Canada",
the Canadian Rockies.
