Sit fa reference to your letter of the 5tha
instant (No file nunber), re above*
Insofar as'I am aware, it has always been
the practice for the Senior Travelling Auditor here, to change the combination
of the safe in the Station Restaurant at least once each year and whenever
a new Cashier or Assistant Cashier is appointed. The only parsons permitted
to have the combination are the two girl cashiers and they never seem able
to -understand the ri|pBseing of the combination* I do not knoif the combination.
At the time it is changed, the new combination is decided upon by the Chief
Cashier, noted by her, set up by &e and promptly forgotten. You might care
to discuss this matter with Mr.J«B»DruimTiondf who I am sure is quite familiar
with the arrangement.
Will you kindly advise further as to your
wishes in this matter.
