Description

This album, which was assembled by Dr. W. B. Chung, consists of photographs of the C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Russia and its service as an ocean liner, an armed merchant cruiser in the First World War, and as a war transport ship in the Second World War.
The album also includes a news clipping concerning the fire that destroyed the ship, a photograph of the ship on fire, and a photograph of the ship after the fire.
