The first C.P. R.M.S. Empress of India is greeted by crowd gathered on wharf for her maiden voyage to Vancouver, BC, mounted on card with inscription on verso, "This is the C.P.R. new steamer and is indeed a lovely sight they have three all the same here each is said to have cost one million if you would like any other picture of anything here I will send them, Yours Lovingly Len".
